I also will miss the Plug-in--the temp MasterCard feature is (was) great and from what I can tell from the PayPal site FAQs, there is no replacement for that function. I expect way less that half of the sites I use will support PayPal--my most recent on-line purchase is from the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) member Website--a non-profit that just sells memberships. I expect it wil be a very long time before ACM.org bothers to implement PayPal on their site. Hate to be cynical, but I can't help thinking this is all about PayPal wanting to add revenue streams by making Websites pay a license . . or something. More like a traditional bank every day--no interest and lots of fees! .
