I just sold an item on Ebay and recieved payement notification within my account. It said "pending" but that is always the case when ebay payments make it to my account. I shipped the item after the transaction was shown in my account but after it was delivered the buyer cancelled the payment. They have deactivated their email and phone number and it seems highly unlikely that I will see my money or my item ever again. To be clear I was NEVER told by pay pal at any point not to ship my item. I have reported the incident to ebay and the FBI but a positive outome seems highly unlikely. For a company that is worth billions it is very upsetting to know that they can't get/give me back $750, a mere .000001% of their total worth. I will NEVER use pay pal again unless they can make this right. Sellers Beware!!!! you arent as protected as they claim.
