Hi, I have been using Paypal to send payments for many years. However I had never received a payment. I was not sure what was required for me to be able to receive payments. This seemed like one of the most common questions a user would ask. Believe it or not, I was unable to find the answer quickly on Paypal using the help system nor the search. The responses all dealt with situations relating to receiving payments, but the most critical info was simple not stated on any page I found. I will admit I spent just minutes looking but felt the response would take less than 1 minute to find. I ultimately found the answer by going to google and asking "how to I receive money over paypal". The answer was deceptively simple. So simple maybe paypal assumes we all know it. The answer was "just provide the sender with your paypal email and have them send the money over paypal. Once received you can transfer the money immediately..." Fantastic. Should have been obvious but I didn't know if any additional setup with my bank, or additional permissions were required. It seems the answer is no. Great. I also don't doubt the answer is somewhere in the paypal help or getting started info. My point here is the difficultly I had finding it. Short of "sending money" I have to imagine "receiving money" is in the top 3 questions users would have! Thanks for listening.
