RED FLAGSSS!!! Too good to be true. 1. Pergolas tech is supposed to have a physical location and is stated to be in Canada, at an address that doesn't exist. The closest approximation to their company location is in the middle of a urban neighborhood in Canada. 2. "Powered by Shopify" - nothing suspicious, except that Shopify provides a 14-day trial to customers. At the very least, this should warrant the caution of waiting 14 days. 3. It's cell number, when reversed searched, yields this: Country United States State / Province / Territory Washington Primary City Issaquah Company / Carrier ELECTRIC LIGHTWAVE, LLC DBA INTEGRA TELECOM - WA Their phone number belongs to another company and a location mismatch. No official email address. No cell. No staff list. 4. Abstract and vague on the "About Us" page - reverse google search yeilds other companies (plagiarism). Bonus, "Pergolas Tech" is underlined - bad formatting or a copy paste? Its "Quality" statement means nothing, despite having only a stock of audio equipment and such. It's statement "Pergolas Tech is passionately dedicated to our mission " followed by "Our main goal is to keep our customers coming back" is at best, the most dubious message you could send. It sounds like something a company rep. 2 days into a job ad-libbing an interview. 5. The knockout blow: It isn't registered as a company in Canada. https://www.canada.ca/en/services/business/research/directoriescanadiancompanies.html TLDR, it is like a shoddily put together scam, and it probably is, if this isnt enough.
