I'd like to report one more of this scamming mode, as I was selling my car via internet selling site, a person from USA called Allan smith contacted me through that page, asked me to contact him in private to settle the conditions for the selling, and telling me he is in the USA (not saying which part of the contry he was) and promising to make the payment as soon as possible, by transferring the total of the selling to my paypal account. he kept selling mails constantly and I started to suspect about that. Then he suddenly confirmed the payment to my account, and an paypal supposed email came into my inbox, the remitter, was different from paypal, asking to pay via western Union a fee of 800 USD so the final payment can be credited into my account, then i figured it out, why on earth will paypal use different extension mail and signing the mail by the founder of the company, why??? I realized the fraud, so I'd like to share my recommendations to the people that have this situation, so everyone can take cautions about this issue and help stop this kind of fraud once for all. 1. Always check the remitter's address and mail extensions. 2. Don't trust on anyone that ask money for ANY reason via internet or any other paying site. 3. Don't give any real information to anyone by email to an unknown person. Don't put your life at risk. 4. Use the logic. No one would pay money for nothing it can't checked out first before to make an agreement. Thanks and have a good day!!!
