Hi All i purchased a new watch from a big well known company in Singapore, i obviously did my due diligence and most of the reviews were fine. i purchased a watch on the 12th July through paypal for added security and all was fine, i tracked the item which was admittedly sent out very quickly and estimated the delivery for the 17th July using DHL express. i had a delivery notification on the 14th but i was at work as i was expecting the package on the 17th which i had already booked off due to flying to spain on the 18th. long story short, on my arrival home there was no watch!! the DHL online paperwork said it had been posted through the letterbox, but three was not chance of that as the watch's box would never have gone through, asked the neighbours but no luck, they would usually bring it around straight away anyway as usual. After numerous phone calls it turns out that the DHL driver said he left it in the open porch!! my porch is never locked and open to any Tom, **bleep** and Harry that fancies opening it and I live in a very built up area and definately not somewhere you leave your windows open when your're out if you know what i mean!!! that's why i always opt for a signed for delivery option. DHL have admitted fault, have declared the package lost and unretrievable and said that the watch company now need to give a refund, but its been a while now and the company keep saying 'bare with us' and 'it takes time' and 'we're still sorting things out with DHL' but i know they are stalling as DHL have already said it a closed case, and have emails backing it all up. shall I just open a dispute now? i have already told them twice that i am going to open a dispute with paypal but they just keep saying 'please bare with us' etc. thanks in advnace for any advice.
