After constantly seeing the PayPal Credit icon pop up on every purchase, I thought it might to a good thing to use for the purchase of a new computer (just to stretch out the payments). When attempting to make the very first payment I found out I can only use my bank account for payments - PayPay Credit will not accept a credit card or normal PayPal account (which is my credit card). The big issue for me is I will now lose my automatic double warranty guaranteed by my credit card company. PayPal accepts your credit card for any purchase, but cannot and will not accept it for the their own Pay Pal Credit. I can go to a Sam's Club or similar venue, make a purchase with their credit card and immediately pay it off with my preferred card in the same store. Buyer beware, PayPal is not doing you any favors - I am now stuck with 50% less warranty had I just paid with my credit card from the beginning. I can send back the computer and start over without PayPal Credit, but there should be an easier way.
