Hi chrisaye,  Here is how you add funds to your PayPal Account, if you are adding cash. I didn't see on your post if you were trying to fund your account with cash or some other way. I recently had to do this when our Family went on a long VACA and Hubby wanted to make sure I had enough money on my PayPal DEBIT MC/PayPal Account so that when we were separated, I would be able to pay for things. It was new to us, so we had to go thru the process and it is really not that hard, just kinda bothersome, as you will have to go out of your way to do this.    Here is how: On your Account Overview Page, there are Tabs, under the word PAYPAL, Under "My Account" are Tabs, starting with "Overview" next to that is "Add Money". Put your cursor over the words "Add Money" and a link pops up under that which says "Add Money From MoneyPak". THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO PUT CASH IN YOUR ACCOUNT THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO YOU ASAP, unless someone gifts it to you, but that is usually not available for 3-5 days. You can purchase a GreenDot MoneyPak at most Pharmacy Type Stores, Large Gas Stations and The WalMarts and Target type of Stores. We chose Walmart because it is the ONLY store where we could put $1000 on my card. That is the most amount that can be purchased and added to your PayPal Account for immediate use.  We were very confused as well, before I ended up just calling customer service and asking how to get money in my account for immediate use. The CS Rep was very kind and patient with us, as we were kinda freaking out and about to fly out within 2 hours and needed to get that money on my account. OH and you must do it online, on a computer, you cannot do it thru the PayPal App. (Unless it has updated since June 20th). I was able to go online on my phone and go to the PayPal "FULL SITE" and add the GreenDot MoneyPak, during our vacation, once the first amount ran out.    I created a Screen Shot of the top of my Account where you could see the tbs and where it says Add Money, but I am having a hard time adding it to this post.    Just a friendly note to the poster who asked you why you needed funding: People have all kinds of reasons for needing funding. He/she may have needed it ASAP, like we did. Funding from my Bank takes almost a week, funding from my Credit Card takes 24-48 hours. I am a Premier PayPal Business Customer and needing funding is the same for me as it is for everyone else. They way I get funded is also the same. I think "Premier" is only for getting cash back and that is about all I have seen, since becoming a Premier Customer.    Anyway, I hope this helped you in some way, crazy_chrisaye...let me know if it did or didn't, please. I know I am new here on the Community Forum, but I have been with PayPal for a while now. We just never needed to fund my account and have access to the money immediately. So, you live and you learn.    Peace!!  PamMJJ ... View more

Jpease57, Are you asking if you can have SmartConnect AND have the PayPal Debit Card at the same time, like having two PayPal Products at the same time??    I just posted a question about SmartConnect and I have the Debit MC, now that I read your post, I am wondering the same thing.    Not that I want to "Fund" my Debit MC with Smart Connect, I was just going to apply for SmartConnect as an extra line of credit, in case of emergencies and such.    Thanks for your question, hopefully someone will see this and answer the way, I think you may have been asking it. I could be wrong, but I am definitely asking if I am allowed to apply for SmartConnect, even tho I have the PayPal Debit MC.    GREAT QUESTION!    Much  Pamela  ... View more

That is a great question and I would like to know the answer, as well as, and add more questions about this topic. I didn't know where to go and I see that no one has answered you here, so maybe if I add some questions, we can both get answered!    I have the PayPal Debit MC and have been using it for almost 3 years. I am at Premier Status, and am extremely satisfied with my account with PayPal Debit MC! So, I  am considering adding SmartConnect to continue in using PayPal's incredible products to sustain and raise my credit score. PayPal has been an amazing company for me in this way. They are my Bank and I will continue to use PayPal and continue to refer all of my family & friends to their Banking Products.    My credit was essentially ruined by unauthorized use of my private identifying info, several years ago, by an In-Law    My question is this: Would it be redundant to try to be accepted in the SmartConnect program, since I have the Debit MC? OR will it be another great product that I can add to my PayPal Account in case of Emergencies, as well as helping my credit score in the process? I am looking to gain better credit, so that in the future I can be independent and have my own Credit & Banking Products, such as "Extras" MC and Savings and Checking Accounts.    I applied for the PayPal Extras MC and was turned down, which I understand completely. I don't want to get another "ding" on my Score, either, by applying for SmartConnect and being turned down.    So, I guess my second question is this; If I applied for Extras and was turned down, would applying for SmartConnect be advisedly the same in regard to my history, etc??    I would really like to have SmartConnect on my PayPal Account, but I need answers to these questions first.    Can anyone out there help me & Pysiek above, who asked a question back in July??    Thanks so much to anyone that can help us out!  Peace~Pamela  ...
