The only question anybody asked was whether or not there are delays based on the July 4th holiday. Nothing you have said has addressed the question that was asked. We know the transfer of funds is not instantaneous. It takes an estimate of 1 day. Your contradictory information is you trying to "school us" that it takes 3-5 days. That is factually incorrect. No matter how many times you say it, it will be factually incorrect. It is still irrelevant to the question asked, which is whether or not the July 4th holiday would cause delays in deposits. You aren't providing an explanation. You're just being rude. Repeatedly saying the same thing which is direct contradiction to paypal's own policies and notifications is not helpful. Paypal says 1 business day. It should take 1 business day. When and if they say it can take 3-5 business days, it is because they are taking into account THE BANK's potential delay, NOT paypal's delay in depositing the funds. THIS is reality. THIS is how paypal works. So stop posting inaccurate contradictory information, and stop being such a jerk. Just stop responding entirely. ... the problem, for me at least, is that I initiated the deposit 8AM July 3rd, and under normal circumstances that deposit would appear in my bank the next morning, but it is now nearly 3PM on July 4th and the deposit is still listed as "pending" in my paypal account. Yup, me too. It says it takes 1 business day, and that's how long it has always taken. 3-5 was old school. These days it's 1 day. Also, it was always one day for it to move out of "pending" status. It was just that *BANKS* used to take longer to process direct deposits, which is why the 3-5 days. Now banks don't take as long. It was never paypal that extended the length. ... View more

If the other person gives you their bank account information and you add it as a bank account to your account, and succsessfuly confirm that you have legal access to the account by verifying the deposits put into the account, then yes, you could withdraw money into that account directly from your paypal address. I came here with the same question. I initiated a deposit from my paypal into my bank account YESTERDAY, July 3rd around 8AM, and as of 2:30PM July 4th it is still "pending", which is very unusual. Is this because of the holiday weekend?! ... View more
