I had a little money in my PayPal and wanted to transfer it to my bank, which was not yet linked. So I added the account and routing numbers and then set up a transfer from PayPal to that bank. I should've waited two days until the account had been confirmed, but I'm a bit new to PayPal and was in a hurry to get it transferred. A couple of days later, I receive the following email: "Problem with your bank account. To confirm your bank account we tried to make 2 deposits into your ****** account on 6/14/17 The money was returned, however, because your bank does not recognize this bank account number." It turns out I had used the account number from a deposit slip by mistake. So I called my bank and got the correct information. That'll be sorted out in a couple of days after they do the microtransfers, I suppose. But the problem is that the money was NOT returned to my PayPal balance, and it didn't get sent to the bank. So now I've lost all the earnings from my last month of online work. So what happened to my money? Is this a common problem?
