I had a high priced Ebay Item sell ($1,200) as local pickup. The buyer, who has 100% feedback from over 160 people, wants to use his shipper to come pick up the item and send it to Ecuador. The buyer paid for the item through PayPal and the Payment Cleared. He purchased this May 6,2017 and paid for item on May 9, 2017. I called Ebay & PayPal and they both acted like no big deal. My concern is now it has been 10 days, I have already spent that money on my bills that were behind, I have just learned my Seller's Protection is no good because I used local pickup. So what can I do to protect myself, my Ebay account (If I don't ship item), my Paypal account ( if I have to refund $1,200) and my potencial to loose $2,400 (If I ship it out and it is fraud). We need to put a stop to these scum bags. PayPal, Ebay step up and stop the chargebacks on credit cards of these thieves and make these credit card companies eat their own mistakes.
