Hello Paypal_Andy I now encountered with the third situation as you described. I checked out as guest account so that I can't view my claim case or upload files as evidences. I already sent file to link: il/uploaddoc However, it seems that paypal have not received it yet. What should i do now to send file to Paypal? Or send email with attachments via email: complaint-response.paypal.com is accepted ... View more

Advice for escalating dispute

Hello everyone, please help me with my situation   Some days ago, I had deal with ebay seller for an iPhone. After payment, I realized that his ebay account was closed for unauthorized registered member reason. I tried to contact with PayPal to cancel transaction but they denied and advised me to open "not receiving items " dispute. 2 days later, the seller provided us tracking number. Due to i was working abroad, i had to let one transport company received my product then they would ship it internationally to my living address   When my transport company received shipment, they also took picture and short clips about opening it. It contained several empty envelopes, of course without my phone. I sent these evidences for Paypal but they replied " In order to continue this investigation, a police report must be filed with your local law enforcement agency and a copy of the report must be faxed to PayPal. Contact your local police department and obtain a police/incident report. This report should be on the law enforcement agency's letterhead or stamped police documentation and clearly explain the details of your issue. This documentation must include the department/officer's contact information, the reporting officer's name, badge number and signature."    My transport company did not want to work with police because they think they have provided clearly evidence,they did not want to help me. Hi zilog, I now encounter same trouble like yours. I bought an IPhone, but the seller sent me several empty envelopes by usps mail. After transaction, I realized that his account on ebay was closed, so that i carefully took photos and short video of receiving and opening his shipment. However, after providing paypal these evidences, they sent me an email ask for clearly details police report about my claim with the sheriff badge number, police stamp and else within 10 days.
