Excuse the frustration that might seeth through this post but here is my problem - i returned an item i bought from ebay. The company got it and sent me a message saying they cant issue a refund because pay pal is holding the payment pending review on my account and needs to be completed. So i cant get a refund until ive jumped through paypals hoops but nothign seems to work o nthe account : *I've updated the out dated redundant email which was the paypal account name and linked a new one to my account and set as primary. *I've gone to remove old addresses as ive moved 3 times since account opened - it wont let me remove old ones. *it wont let me update new address on the cards for billing connected to my account *wont let me confirm my bank account -tells me to look for code in my statements, when is this from - 2011 wheni opened the account, because it isnt there now. I dont even know whether any of this is the reason why paypal wont let me accept a refund for an item i paid for with paypal !!!!! If paypal as a company has doubts about confirmation of account, then it shouldnt let you pay for any goods at all until its set up, because it just leads to chaos somewhere down the line. ive just spent ages scratching in my head trying to work out WTF i am supposed to do, which has led me here as the customer service is just some auto robot who is as useful as a chocolate tea pot.
