Unable to use new EVM card on Coinbase.

For a long time, I used my PayPal Business Debit on Coinbase with no problems. However, when I got the new EVM card, I am now unable to use it on Coinbase (every time I try to make a purchase, the order is immediately cancelled without explanation). I asked Coinbase support and they said that the cancellations were coming from the card issuer, not them. I have reached out to PayPal but have gotten no response. Is anyone else having issues with the new card? Since Coinbase is based out of the UK, is there some sort of permission I must grant with the new card in order to allow international purchases? I went to load $100 to my PayPal at Rite Aid through the "add at store feature". The cashier tried twice and said the transaction wouldn't go through because the server was down, so she gave me my money back and apologized. About an hour later I got two emails saying my deposits were complete. I checked, and sure enough both of the cashier's attempts actually eventually went through. So now I have $200 that isn't mine in my account. Both deposits appear as completed and are included in my available balance. Should I call and explain, or is this something that the system will catch and the money will go away again after midnight? Being an honest person, I want it to go where it rightfully belongs, but I would hate to go back to the store and pay for it only for the system to reverse the original transactions, and then I'm shorted money. Thoughts or advice? ... View more
