If I may add an additional question, Paypal does give me the option to add Paypal Balance using Bancontact (the local Bank Card protocol in Belgium) I am confident this would work, but will I have the option of paying with my balance only without having an account/credit card linked? The particular transaction in question is for an Ebay bid that ends tomorrow, the seller is located in the UK, and the payment option says Paypal (Credit cards accepted through paypal) , but if it is a one time payment, I don't understand why I'd need reserve funds. Of course, this is all assuming I don't get outbid in the next 16 hours :), but I'm the only bidder so far.
