The debit card was my first method of payment. The payment was due April 1st so on March 27th I chose the one time debit card payment with eBay. Everything went through and it said accepted but I didn't not check up on the issue. Around March 29th, two days before the bill was due, I got an email from PayPal saying "thank you for your purchase, your receipt and transaction number is "blah blah blah". I checked my bank account and saw neither one of the transactions were recorded on my bank account. Confused I went over to PayPal and saw the $37 was registered in my account in the money out section. The correct balance is 36.48 for the invoice payment. So at first my guess was PayPal would work like a credit card and I would pay them back later because it wasn't making sense and the bill wasn't technically due with eBay yet. After the payment though with no warning PayPal withdrew 28 dollars from my account. Confused I didn't put any money in because I don't want them taking out money, they took out another 28 dollars 4 days later, and caused my account to become overdrawn. I haven't received any emails or calls from eBay or PayPal, and it's really confusing since usually both companies provide information before doing something of this nature. I still get those automated spam eBay messages (the ones advertising their products) and PayPal's receipts and automated emails, but that is it. So I do know my email does work, and that in my account I have provided with correct contact information. By the way you have been a great help. Sorry if I'm not making the best of sense, it's been tiring all week with worrying about this and I did just get better from the flu.
