My friend from US sent me USD dollars. My Paypal account must be Canadian. When my friend sent USD money, instead of receiving USD money as-is. It automatically converted money to CAD and the fee has been applied. 2 Questions. 1. Can I receive as USD money and waive the fee (because sometimes I purchase USD merchants anyways). 2. If I refund the money which my friend has sent me (fee has been applied), then will the fee be removed? For example, my friend has sent me $100 (USD) to me, some fee has been applied and I received the CAD money. If I refund the money, then will my friend receive $100 (USD) back?
