Hello there, So here is what has happened to me from the very beginning: A few weeks ago, I received an e-mail that said my account was going to be limited because of suspicious activity. Having heard of phishing incidents from via such medium, I was wary and DID NOT click on any links from that e-mail. I then went to withdraw what was left in my account so that my balance was zero. Now a few days ago, I was notified by my bank that there was a transaction. I went on PayPal and saw that someone had purchased a laptop for $299.99 USD which translates to $430.33 AUD (I live in Australia). I know for a fact that I DID NOT make they purchase and I do not have any relatives in California, which is where the laptop is getting shipped to. I have already filed a dispute for an unauthorised transaction but here are my questions: 1. How long does it usually take for something like this to be resolved? 2. Would providing the most-likely-fake e-mail count as evidence? 3. If so, does the evidence need to be submitted within 7 days or any other time limit? 4. Should my bank card be linked to my account for a refund (I have removed it) or does the money get refunded to my PayPal account? 5. Is there anything more I can do if the claim does not get resolved in my favour? (I am very scared of that happening as I am worried that I do not have enough evidence?) Thank you
