I wound up here because the same thing just happened to me. The holidays have arrived and PayPal has always been my favorite way to get funds and gifts moved because it has always been super fast for all parties involved. 5 days? Okay, 3 business days, but it's still 5 days before those funds are available to the seller. And no, the only way I found out was when I was told the funds had not been received and I began digging. Sure, I sent the trans. number, but what the heck? A warning sure would be nice.
