PayPal say my account doesn’t exist!

I set up a PayPal account in October last year as a second account to be used with EBay. I have logged in dozens of times and used it to send money when buying from EBay. Today I got an email from PayPal to say I’d received money, (via a sale on EBay). I went to log in and PayPal didn’t recognise my password. It’s the same password I used yesterday to log in! I rang them up because it won’t let me change my password without first texting me but my old phone number is listed. (Got a new phone for Christmas and forgot to update my number on here). Anyway, PayPal say my account doesn’t exist or rather my name and the account email don’t match!? I spelled my name out for them as well as my email address and they still say they can’t find it. I spoke to two different people and they both said the same thing. So I have funds sitting in my PayPal account that I can’t access because PayPal decided my password is wrong and that my name isn’t my name! I have no way to access my account at all. What do I do now? ... View more

I am unable to open a dispute with PayPal because after completing the online form, I press submit and get an onscreen message saying there is a problem with the site and to try again later. I've been trying for days! Also the P+p was added on after the seller accepted my offer. He sent a new invoice after that with p+p added on. ... View more

I am having the same problem for over a week. I have tried ringing Paypal but it is constantly engaged, the one time i got through, i explained my issue, was put on hold and then when someone finally answered (after an hour and 8 minutes on hold), they hung up! When i tried to phone again, it was engaged and so i have given up.   The seller on Ebay has knowingly stolen from me, added on p+p charges in a new invoice AFTER the sale was agreed (best offer with free p+p), Ebay won't do a thing about it, their dispute/ make a claim bit isnt working properly either so i am basically **bleep**. The seller has received over 500 negative feedback comments in the past week (i bought 2 weeks ago), he will not reply to messages and so when Ebay gave me his phone number, i rang it and was told (and i quote) " Go F*** yourself you stupid c***, you  aint getting f*** all from me, cheers for the money", followed by a lot of laughter, shouted (disgusting derogator names) and then put the phone down. I however had recorded the call for my own records. I phoned ebay and played them the recording and they still refused to do anything. They would not even open a dispute from their end. As a result, i am closing my account with Ebay and i have instructed my legal team to take action against the seller and Ebay.   I have also discovered that this seller is selling counterfeit goods and Ebay dont care about that either!   Save your money people, Ebay are allowing known criminals to defraud people. ...
