We have a business account that's tied to me personnally (because that makes sense somehow). We're trying to send money to people, but we started getting a security check pop-up that says to select a number to have a verification code sent to it. Well there are no numbers listed there, even though we have 4, confirmed numbers in our profile. I called tech support this morning and she cleared the transaction and re-added my mobile number to the account (verification text and all). We started sending money again. After a few transactions it popped up the security check again, and no numbers were listed. So I called again, and this tech support person said the problem was we had no phone numbers on our account. I told her we have 4. She said "Well I don't see any listed." I said well maybe that's our problem, what do we need to do to fix that. She did some things, and tried to add my mobile number, and got an error (I'm sure because it was already there). She put me on hold for quite a while then came back and said, "I was able to add your phone number to your account. Is there anything else I can help you with?" I said, "Will it allow me to use it for the security check?" She didn't know, and said that I needed to call my cell phone company to update my name on my account. I told her I checked that, and that my name was correct on the account. She said there was nothing she could do for me. I asked if I could escalate to the next level of support, and she said, "There's nothing else we can do for you." Then had the gall to ask if there was "anything else I can help you with." So, long winded description looking for help for 2 things: 1) Anyone else had the issue with numbers in your profile not showing up as security check options? 2) Anyone else have such a horrible experience with PayPal customer support?
