I purchased a sewing machine that was advertised as "in excellent working condition". The machine doesn't work at all and the seller asked me to take it to a shop which I did. Throughout the process, the seller offered me a refund of my purchase price but not of shipping which I agreed to. When I sent the information from the shop that the seller requested, seller didn't return my email. I finally contacted ebay after waiting over a week for an email or my refund only to find out that I was beyond ebays 30 policy (only because she insisted I take it to a shop) so I contacted paypal. Paypal rejected my claim (I've never had to resort to any kind of complaint to either ebay or paypal) because the seller told them that I waited "weeks" to tell her that the machine didn't work. She was informed that it didn't work on the day that it was delivered. After speaking with paypal again, I was given an email adress to forward our emails to and told that the case was reopened. I have a funny feeling though that paypal is sweeping me under the rug. Has anyone had dealing with " complaint-response at paypal.com " ? Thank you so much to anyone that reads this and please help me. I'm not a person that can afford to lose money.
