Hi i am new to selling with paypal. I sold directly not through ebay and paypal held my money to make sure that I shipped the item. Now they have confirmed shipment and has technical problems with sending payment. This morning I received this email from paypal asking me the following: We have been able to sort the technical problems we are having and we are very much ready to release your total money into your account without delay but we want you to send us a scanned Copy of your Driver's license or any form of Identity to verify that we are releasing the payment to the right person because some people claims the money that does not belong to them and it affects our customers, so we want to put that to a stop[ because our Customer's safety and happiness is our greatest concern. We wait to read from you as soon as possible. Is it for real? or is it a scam email from someone trying to use py personal information? thanks!
