FYI, just in case you haven't figured it out yet, I just now found that unless you call PayPal and make a payment over the phone you can not designate your money to go to a promotional purchase. Meaning if you use the credit with no intrest on the six months to pay it will keep charging you interest until all the other regular credit balance has been paid. Then and only then will it be applied to the promontional purchase. I for one will stop using this option after learning of what I call a scam !!! After I pay my remaining balance, I will no longer use PayPal Credit on any promotional purchases.
