Hello and I hope someone can help me, On August 12th I purchased a Seagate external hard drive on eBay and after making the payment I received an email stating that the listing was pulled due to a third party posted the listing by hacking into the account. So what do I have to do to get my money back, PayPal has it as a pending and eBay is saying I can't open a dispute cause PayPal said no and PayPal won't let me open one either so I don't know what to do or expect? I've tried contacting the seller 3 times by email with no success, they haven't responded at all. I realize that the seller wasn't responsible for the listing but my money was sent to them, why can't they at least respond to the email stating where they stand on the problem? Also why can't PayPal just stop the payment if the seller hasn't claimed it yet, or at least contact the seller and find out their intentions and what they plan to do next? I'm not sure what else I can do, I've tried contacting everyone involved, the seller, eBay, PayPal, and every forum community and chat room I could think of to correct the problem is there any hope for a good outcome?
