Hi There. I was selling an Iphone on ebay and had previously had issues with scammers bidding rediculas amounts and then sending fake paypal emailes to send the goods. In my latest aution guy contacted me and offered to buy the phone directly through paypal and offered £350 the going rate. seeing as i was having so many issues trying to sell through ebay i decided to go ahead with the sale. I sent the guy a money request which he payed straight away. i waited a few days to make sure there was no issues and then sent the phone recorded delivery to the address listed in paypal beliving i had covered all bases. Today i have just recived an itam not as desribed notice. the guy is claiming all he recived was an empty envelope and no phone and wants a full refund. he even sent me an email via ebay telling me if i didnt give him a full refund he would start calling my place of work to make compliants against me (seems he found me via linkedin). From what i have read it seems its his word against mine. i have the original ebay listing, the full email chain, proof of delivery and proof of recipt. I also have photo's of the phone i sent him and the original recipt when i first got the phone. what can i do? how do I fight this?
