This afternoon I received three one-time password emails from Visa. Since I hadn't been trying to buy anything online, I thought this was odd and checked my Visa account online. There were 3 one dollar purchases marked PAYPAL (now reversed automatically) and three other suspicious transactions (still pending and thankfully small). I locked my Visa account and contacted the bank. I tried to login to my PayPal account, but the password no longer works. Since I'm now living abroad and don't have have access to the phone number on record with PayPal, I can't regain access to my account by getting a verification code... stupid and forgetful me. Even better, trying to use Skype where I currently live, the US and outside the US phone numbers don't seem to work, and it isn't worthwhile to try long distance for the amounts involved. Other than a Twitter DM or Facebook PM to PayPal, is there anything I can do to attempt to regain access to my account?
