It wasn't shady. I received three refunds. However, just within the last week I tried to submit a refund request by linking over from the saved email that I kept when the service was announced (back in February 16' for the US I assume) and now the page can't be displayed. I have tried from four different devices which includes my work computer and get the same message. The thing is down now. This is supposed to be good till 12/31/16 or when you reach $30.00 in refunds. PayPal should hook up with another servicer, not just leave everybody hanging with refunds waiting, or do something about this themselves. This service is offered by PayPal, the communication came from PayPal, and serviced through the partner PayPal selected which is Telus. Which means that PayPal can easily get somebody else or like I said, handle this themselves.
