Thank you all for your kind help.   My country is Romania, and yes the bank account were supposedly accepted by Paypal, as I had no trouble using them until this very moment.   I will take your advice and try to re-add my bank accounts and also I will add a new one, so I am going to see in the next couple of days if this really works.   I still don't know how Trustly comes in the picture as I never ever had anything to do with a trustly account.   Thanks, Anna       ... Money transfer - Bank Account

Hi all,   I have made several transactions already on my existing bank accounts. They were not confirmed as I have never received those small amounts, so I couldn't complete the confirmation. However, everything worked just fine till this moment. Today I wanted to transfer some money to my bank account but there were no options to choose after I pressed the transfer money button...no bank account options whatsoever. There is a sentence instead of my bank account which says: "Instant top up from bank account (via Trustly)". I don't know what does that mean, I never had any Trustly account. Please let me know how can I proceed. I have to emphasize that when I enter into my I have to emphasize that when I enter into my paypal account I can SEE the two bank accounts I have, the problem appears whenever I want to transfer some money...the dropdown option is empty... In case the confirmation is the problem, why I was not receiving those small amounts? Can paypal resend those to me. If yes, how?  Or please let me know what other options I have.   Thanks, Anna ... Hi,   It is impossible for me to add a US bank account, I don't have an account there, never had. So this means if I have a Mastercard I cannot send the money to my card? It is not the most flattering option I have to say. Why they do not state this from the beginning? Is there any other option for me than?   ... View more

Problem withdrawing money from Paypal account

Hi All,   I wanted to withdraw some money from my PayPal account but the site asks me to link a US bank account to my PayPal account, which is weird as I had a PayPal account for quite a time and I never been asked to link a US bank account to my Paypal.  I live in Romania, so I don't have a US bank account. I was always able to withdraw money directly to my card, so I don't understand why they are asking this now (I don't see the "withdraw to card" option anywhere on the site and whenever I access the simple "withdraw" button they are asking for this US Bank account). Recently I have changed my card as the old one has expired. I have successfully verified my new card so I think that should not be a problem.  Please kindly help, what could be the issue here. Card expiring: should I still make a transaction?

Hi, I need advice on how should I proceed. My debit card will expire at the end of this month (which means I only have 4 working days till that). I have received some payment on my PayPal account and I wanted to withdraw it to my card. My main concern is that the money transaction takes around 5-7 days, which is longer than the days I have till my card expires. So my questions are:   1. Will the money arrive on my card if I make the transaction? 2. Should I rather leave the money in my PayPal account (balance) until I receive my new card?  3. How long PayPal keeps the money on my PayPal account? 4. I am expecting a new payment at the beginning of June. If I won't have a valid card till that, will that money still arrive in my PayPal account? 5. My local bank policy (Romania) is that the new card will be completely different so will I have to validate that card again, when I will link it to Paypal? Will this affect in any way the money I have (or I will have) in my PayPal account?   I know there are a lot of questions, but i would really appreciate if you could give me a feedback.
