I agree. The current shipping tool set is comprehensively **bleep** up. At the moment, I am tracking the following broken elements: 1) Can't print a label to ship first class international package to Japan. It's a 2 ounce package, aside from the annoying default setting of Priority Mail as the OP mentions, the only options offered to me for this one are Letter and Large Envelope, at the [lower] incorrect rate for that class vs. what I should be paying for a package. 2) Can't select the classic shipping experience, period. Clicking that opens the classic carrier selection page, and it doesn't matter which service you select or whether you check the "make this my preferred" box, it takes you back to the "new and far from improved" shipping page, with the same lack of relevant options. 3) Page no longer shows you what class of service the buyer selected, nor what they paid (not clearly anyway) which was done very simply and clearly on the classic shipping tool. I find myself having to go into eBay to retrieve that info from the sales order instead - thanks for creating the extra work guys! 4) Page continually default loads to the wrong shipping option. If I sold something using 1st class mail, it shows Priority or UPS every time. 5) The page layout for labels in both the new shipping tool and what's currently available when you do get the classic tool to load (which is the really old page, not the more recent page that was provided before they f'd everything up with the new tool) is not the same. Might not matter to everyone but I stock and use peel & stick labels and until I've reset the page setup, the printing runs off the label surface and is lost when I peel it. 6) The other night, I gave up on trying to access the classic tool and printed a label using the new tool. It was another 1st class international label, and when I clicked the link to enter Customs info the form was presented straddling a narrow window on the page with white vertical bars on either side that covered the two outer ends of the data fields that have to be completed. The fields were accessible but you couldn't see the first several characters on any of them (left side of the page) and the check box for agreeing to terms was hidden completely - only able to find it by hovering around the general area with my mouse until the box outline showed up through the white bars. Really made me wonder two things: 1) Do PayPAl programmers ever actually try and use the crap page coding they create, and 2) why do stupid things liek this happen EVERY TIME they touch a useful, working current page? You guys need to step it up, this is miserable performance by any standard. John
