My sister sent me money on the 8th of January, $200. It didn't post to paypal until the 15th. That same day I sent it to my bank. It's the 18th and still not there. I was counting on this money for bills and groceries, so I have late bills and I'm pretty darned hungry to be honest. This is unacceptable in 2016. Maybe 15-20 years ago this amount of time was acceptable, but the excuses being handed out about why it takes so long are ridiculous.   After hearing about how terrible the customer service is, paired with the insane waiting times and all the other stuff associated with this company, I have concluded that I do not trust this company or their business ethics and will be closing my account as soon as my money arrives in my bank. I will also be ending any business with ebay since they are tied to paypal.   I was really hoping for better service. Guess I should have done more homework on this company. Oh well, guess I'll go look for alternatives as there are better out there. Oh and paypal, get rid of these rude community advisors that make your customer service even worse than your phone service. That is BS. This advisor is a rude person and lies like crazy. Everybody who uses paypal is quickly learning what a terrible service it is. I haven't looked for alternatives yet but I'm about to start. This was my first experience with paypal, and it's been 10 days and money isn't in my bank yet. My sister sent me $200 on the 8th, it got here on the 15th. I sent it to my bank on the same day, it still isn't there.   This company is really displaying what I believe to be bad business ethics. This is unacceptable in the 21st century. So to be honest, I will never again use a service that requires paypal, including ebay. My paypal account is closing as soon as I get my money, and I'm letting everyone know what a pile of junk this service is. ... View more

Wow, a community advisor with a bad attitude right from the start is a pretty terrible business model there paypal. Might want to do some reviews. Most of his posts are pretty rude and not acceptable for a business-client relationship. If I called a business and they talked to me on the phone the way this guy talks, I can guarantee they would lose all of my business and I'd be letting everyone know how they treat people. Oh by the way Paypal, I'll be letting people know how your customers are treated AND how terrible your service is. I'm still waiting for money my sister sent to get in my bank account. Yep. My sister sent me money, took 7 days to get into my paypal account on the 15th. That day I transferred it to my bank, still not there. Was counting on it for bills and groceries, neither of which have I been able to pay or buy. Figured a company who handles this would have this figured out. It took 7 days from the time I got the email that my sister sent me money to the time it arrived in my account on the 15th. I then transferred it to my bank, still don't have it on the 18th.
