I contacted Paypal to make sure that after i return the phone back to them i'll still be protected, in case the seller refuses to make a full refund. I'll wait for their reply.   Anyway i tried to confirm in Paypal with the seller if they would make a full refund after i return the phone with no acessories, and this time they said that for refund i would have to return all items back including packages and only if i wanted to have it repaired there would be no need to return the accessories. This is funny because in the first message i clearly said "I want to return this phone and get a full refund", but oh well.   I guess my next step would be to return the phone with box and acessories and a tracking number, and then i should get a full refund from them, since i'm supposed to work things out with seller, and only if seller refuses to refund the money then i should escalate and request a refund in Paypal.   About the address, it seems very long to me. Do you know if the format is correct, or if not what would be the correct format to write it down, with paragraphs and all?  ... View more

I opened a dispute in paypal in order to return the phone i bought from China with a defective screen color and get a full refund. The seller replied in paypal as follow: "we are so sorry for the inconvenience, we request our service to send you RMA and address details for return"   They also sent this email: "The RMA: XXXXXXXXX The returning address is as follows: [removed due to privacy concerns] Attn: [removed due to privacy concerns] Zip code :518000 Phone NO.: XXXX-XXXXXXXX Pls send it back by your local postal office, only send the phone itself , no accessories needed to save your shipping cost, and indicate it as follows on the package: product description: Accessory replacement  and pls  indicate value: 38USD After you send and then notice us tracking No. please put a label on the phone with the problem details+order No."   Can i just send the phone without accessories (box, charger and manuals) as asked, and i'll still be protected if they refuse to refund the money?   Also, the address seems too long. What would be the appropriate format to write that address, with paragraphs and all?   Thanks. ... View more

I understand that, but at the time i filled the dispute i didn't had the item yet and it was like the last day i could fill the dispute so i did it as "not received", because it was true. I actually said that in the dispute, that i hadn't received my item yet but i and was opening the dispute in case i received the item and they refused to pay for customs costs as promised.   After 53 days the package finally came but i had to pay for customs costs that the store promised to pay and now are refusing, i have proof of that! So the fact they promised to cover custom costs and the proof i have, doesn't that help me in anyway to get the customs costs refunded?   If not then what should i do? ... View more

Store is refusing to pay custom costs as promised!

Hey, i bought a phone in a store called Spemall that costed 258€ (EUR) and i had to pay 70.97€ (EUR) of customs costs. According to the store they promise to cover any customs costs if item is stuck in customs when shipped with SF Airmail to Europe, including Portugal as they say. That's the shipping option i choosed, and i'm from Europe (Portugal) so they should be covering the customs costs.   Because i wanted to be sure of it i even asked them directly before buying the phone if they would cover the customs costs if anything happened, and they clearly said YES, it's public in the phone page in the review section when i asked and they responded, i can show you if you want.   But now i asked them to pay for it and they just offered $15 to "compensate", about 14€, like wtf!   I opened a non-receipt dispute in PayPal and i have till day 12 to escalate this dispute to a PayPal claim.. Do you think that if i offer enough evidence of how they promised to pay for customs costs, PayPal will be on my side and refund me the costs?   Thanks ... View more
