I have mine set to take it from Paypal (else whats the use of even having paypal) and Ebay seller(s) had paypal as a payment option YET it took it from my Credit Card. I just want to know if this is a recent change or a paypal thing or a Ebay thing or whatever. Im surprised I received not many people that know of a fix or know why this is happening here. If I really cant take out of Paypal on purchases, I'm probably going to liquidate my Paypal account altogether as what exactly is the purpose of Paypal then. Cant say asking the community on this issue did me any good in finding a solution. Is there ANYBODY at Paypal who can provide an answer? At least it seems I'm not the only one.

Posted this about a week ago, only answer I got was someone with similiar problem but NO REAL ANSWER. Trying again. I quit selling on Ebay since they went to managed payments but I still purchase items there. I have now make 3 or 4 different purchases on ebay as of late and every single one of them, instead of taking it FROM my Paypal balance (I did select on Ebay at time of purchase Pay with Paypal) AND I DO HAVE enough funds in my Paypal account balance to cover my purchase, but they all end up being charged to the CREDIT CARD that I linked to my paypal account instead of using the outstanding AVAILABLE FUNDS balance that I have with Paypal. AND I checked my account to use Paypal as Primary with checking & Credit Card secondary and third. IS THIS A RECENT EBAY THING??? How can I get the Ebay purchases to use that Paypal balance instead of the linked credit card? Thanks for any help.

I had the same issue last night. I have ONLY an XP o/s machine and cant do nothing with Paypal anymore it seems. Whatever front end they put BEFORE the sign in screen, IT DONT WORK USING CHROME now (Cant sign in) and under Firefox, I can sign in but cant do hardly any functions. I cant even go to the USPS site and generate a ship Label, and PAY for it using Paypal now. This site is now useless to me and cant even figure out how to contact anybody at Paypal to tell them about the issues, the damn Robot Assistant is like talking to the back of my hand. What happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE where you can report a problem. I dont have a cell nor do I use Apps since I am on a Desktop. I have no issues with any other site that I visit. Anybody know any other sites to do the SIMPLE things I want, like send payment request and pay for labels THAT WILL WORK ON AN XP operating system?

Bring back the REAL Classic Layout for printing USPS Labels. Paypal BETA is NOT showing all USPS Shipping options for Priority Mail such as PADDED Flat Rate and LEGAL Envelopes and Regional Shipping Boxes. Click on go to classic label experience and it goes nowhere. Now I have to go to USPS to print my labels. What an effin pain. Never had this issue in Classic but now cant even get into it, not even temporarlly.. New Beta is POS.
