I had the same thing happen to me with a guitar for christmas. I spent 2 hrs on the phone with paypal which led to an ebay and paypal conference call. They couldnt help me at all and cancelled my guitar i was trying to buy. They refuse to honor any of their paypal credit payment plans which is still listed on numerous auctions. I was approved for everything and I do have paypal credit account. I guess it's all just a con job to get new people to sign up for their paypal credit accounts. So Beware people the 12 month 18 month and 24 month payments plans through paypal credit are nothing more than a scam and lie to get you to open a paypal credit account in which there is no option for any of the above monthly payments plans when purchasing. Customer service is just paypal and ebay pushing blame on each other and their only solution is to tell you not to pay for the auction you had confirmed on. They wont honor the12 18 and 24 monthly payment plans that they offter to you on the auctions . I'm extremely upset and dissapoint in both paypal and ebay.
