I'm in NY and want to start a small business. The item is simple enough where I can showcase three pictures, customers purchase and leave a note how they want it customized. (So it's not a whole storefront) I'm in NY where collecting sales tax seems to be complicated (I do have a certificate). Weebly is 300 bucks for the business plan. Etsy has a whole forum for NY sellers to figure out taxes. I'm thinking about letting people pay me thru paypal for their products, but that still leaves me to figure out taxes. (I see that PayPal has something to fill out, that would automatically apply to orders?) I also have to tax shipping. If I can use PayPal that would be great, but am unsure where to begin with setting taxes. Thanks for any info!
