Request for Additional Information - Proof Of Addr...

Hey guys,   Good day! After 9 years of being with paypal, I was asked to confirm my identity as part of their regulatory requirements and it also mentioned about my account reaching it's transaction limit. (My account type is actually Premier, I guess this type is no longer available now for new accounts)   I 've just submitted my Drivers License and after a day or 2, I was asked for additional information (with subject line: Request for additional information XXX). It wanted me to provide more proof of address.   So I have with me a couple recent bank statements and internet bills as well. I was then instructed to submit the following at: https://www.paypal.com/policy/hub/cip, upon visiting that link though - there's no other way I could provide the docs since it appears to have already been completed. Here's a screenshot I'm getting: https://www.screencast.com/t/uyVMYFLkYhRh   Noticed that the proof of address is already checked even when I haven't submitted any docs yet (this was already checked as well upon uploading my driver's license ID). So I decided to forward my docs at compliance-apac at paypal.com instead.   Would that be enough? I'm afraid paypal would think I'm not complying, thought I'd ask the community. Any response would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you!     ... View more

Item Not Received Case Closed Suddenly Reopened To...

Hello guys,   A client filed an INR (Item not received) dispute against me and has been escalated to a claim. The  client (buyer) pretended that he ordered a computer from me and that it wasn't delivered at all. I've only rendered my services to him as a web developer/freelancer, I called paypal and they sided me.   The client appealed and lost again. The case was closed.   Exactly after 3 days, the case has been reopened and now the client filed SNAD (Signifcantly not as described).   Is it even possible for a case closed even after a couple appeals to be re-opened again? This client is now claiming that I was selling softwares and that I've forced him to buy a computer so that the software would work.   The client posted a number +66*** which he said he was able to contact me. I'm from the Philippines and my area code is +63***.    There are a lot of inconsistencies and discrepancies in his claims. You'd really know when a person is making up a story. It hurts though that you are in a situation actually unsure of the outcome, stressed, and when you know yourself that you're on the right side while this guy has got nothing to lose and taking his chances.   I  hope you guys help me out on this. It means a lot! Thank you.     ... View more

Item Not Received Claim/Appeal in My Favor, Switch...

Hey guys,   I recently just won an INR (Item not received) claim from a buyer. He was claiming that I was selling computers and that it didn't arrived. He appealed and still lost. Just earlier, The case was reopened and that the case is now switched to Significantly Not As Described case.   Is this even possible? A quick recap of the timeline would be:   October 13, 2015 - Item Dispute October 13, 2015 - Item Escalated to Claim (Item not received) October 15, 2015 - I called paypal for a follow up on this case October 15, 2015 - Dispute/Claim in my favor: http://screencast.com/t/ZehTgH9otfz October 16 - 21, 2015 - Buyer appealed October 24, 2015 - Buyer's appeal lost, email sent to buyer Oct 28, 2015 - Buyer: Item Not Received case switched to Significantly Not As Described case My funds have been put on hold again and that my previous transfers were reversed. Now this guy's claim is quite colorful and it doesn't make sense. He was claiming that I was selling softwares and that It wouldn't work unless he buys a computer that I was also selling and forced him to do so.   He even posted a phone number (probably random where he tried to call me as he stated): +669266601644. I'm from the Philippines and our area code is +63. That one is Thailand's and absolutely not mine.   I'm not and never was into selling, the least of all, computers. I'm only rendering my  services as a web developer/programmer. Can you guys share me your thoughts on this please? Thank you!     ... View more
