When you are shopping on the web and choose to pay with paypal and when you are directed to the paypal website and you entered your username and password at that very second, once you are logged in make sure to check the payment option immediately.  If you wanted to change the payment option, highlighted in blue is the word "change."  Once you click on that you can choose what form of payment you would like to use.   ... From my experience with shopping through paypal, promo codes are not allowed because when you are shopping on the paypal website you have click on the particular store from the paypal website to see what offers are avaliable and click on the offer directly from the paypal and then you will be directed from there. ... I believe because you are new to paypal credit they problem put a hold or limit on the amount of money you can send to someone with paypal credit.  click on summary and scroll to the bottom of the screen.  there should be soemtime hightlighted in blue about how much do i have avaliable to send with paypal credit.  It reads something of that sort.  That's where you can view if there are limits placed on the amount you can send.   ...
