Hi I purchased a mobile phone (or 'phablet') from Everbuying on 27 June 2015, for which I received acknowledgement, and an e-mail indicating it had been dispatched on 30 June 2015; this included a link on which progress of the delivery could be tracked. By the middle of July I became concerned about its non-arrival, and began a 'conversation' with the 'customer support' service seeking explanation for this. I was eventually forwarded a message indicating the parcel had arrived in the UK on 06 July and was awaiting dispatch, apparently by YODEL. The tracking system should provide information about subsequent progress but has failed to do so and I have made this point several times to Everbuying. They maintain increasing lengths of time before they would consider the delivery as having become lost, but I think their suggested timescale of 60 days to be excessive and, possibly, a way of avoiding their responsibility as a seller. They have made vague promises to check progress with the delivery agency but have evidently never done so. I believe the point has been reached where I should make a claim for loss of the item in transit and seek reimbursement of the money paid.
