Hi. This is a very tragic stuation I had. Last July 3, I was hired by a man as his Virtual Assistant. I worked for him. Everything goes on smoothly.He had given me a job contract asking for my info like name, address, Valid Ids and my Paypal account to where he will send my pay every month. I never though he is a scam because he even offered a job contract and he has many questions in the intervew process. So I did not hesitate to give my info since I believe that it is intended for my work. So, one day he asked me to make an invoice. I was quite hesitant because it s for my personal use. We never agreed that he's going to us my Paypal account in his business. He forced me so I agreed since he is my boss so I listened to him but I told him that would be the first and last time that he will use my Paypal account in his business. So, I created the invoice, he kept asking me for updates if I received the money already. After a day, the person who received the invoice already paid so we had the money in my Paypal account already. After that, my "boss" whom I thought is a scam wanted me to withdraw the money personally in the bank and send it to him. I was now curious so I made an excuse that I cannot withdraw the money because the bank set limits on my accoun to wthdraw just a small amount because it is just intended for receiving salary from my client. So he agreed and given me instructions to send it instead to two different paypal accounts. I wll divide the amount of money. One will be sent to the first Paypal account and the other will be on the second one. This means that I just made the invoice, received the money and transferred it to the other Paypal accounts as he instructed. Meaning, I do not have the responsibility of the money. So after two weeks, I received a dispute from the person who sent the money in my account. I was really surprise because I have money in my Paypal which is my salary from my three different clients and is intended for delivering a baby. I was really sad. I have given the buyer enough evidences to prove that I did not took the money away. I did not received any response from him. I am really sad because the money in my Paypal might be given to the buyer well in fact it is my salary. I worked hard for me to earn that money for my baby. What will happen to mu dispute now? Since I am just a victim and the buyer is as well a victim. The boss I had which is a scammer is responsible for this. So why am I suffering? IS there a way for me to get my money which is held? Or it will totally be taken away from me??
