A common theme on here. I had my account limited ages ago. I refused to give over my info but now have had to succumb because there are items on ebay that I can only seem to get there. I sent a copy of my drivers licence. I have no utility bills in my name so I sent an invoice from HMRC. A government body. First time they told me they couldn't see the date properly. Then I retook a photo and included the date better. So then they tell me that isn't a valid document. Really? Firstly, why couldn't you have said that in the first instance. Secondly, what exactly about Her Majesties Revenue and Customs isn't official enough? Even my drivers licence has my address on it. It's illegal to have an incorrect address on your licence. So I emailed Paypal specific questions about being unable to provide a utility bill or bank statement as my banking is paperless. Instead of a relevant response I get a bs automated response telling me everything that I already know and ignoring my questions. If it was possible for me to ring I would have. I had to email. So why can't my issue be answered via email? Awful company
