Hello I sold for a value of 150€ of items on Ebay. However, the buyer said he doesn't have bank checks anymore and want to pay with paypal. But as the buyer has no evaluation, and as this sale is about a very high amount of money (it's the equivalent of a monthly salary to me...), I'm quite suspicious about it. I was told about several scams made with paypal, and I was told paypal is always on the buyer's side, even when the buyer is a scammer, and never protect sellers. Then, I'd like to ask you some informations, so that I'll know if I can accept a paypal payment or if I should rather insist for a check payment. - Can the buyer cancel his payment after the money went on my account? Can he get his money back? - If there is no money left on my paypal account when the buyer cancel his payment or ask for a reimbursment, can paypal get the money from my bank account ? - If we had to open a litigation, what kind of proofs do I need to proove I did send the items ? - Can paypal protect me if the buyer is trying to scam me and tries to get his money back after I sent the items? Does paypal protect sellers from scamming? I'm not a professionnal, just a student trying to get some money, I really don't want to be scammed on this sale.
