My current account at my bank used to use a Meastro card and paypal did not charge a fee for me to send money to friends but now my Maestro card has expired and my bank has switched to debit MasterCard, paypal now charges a fee to use that card - recognising it as a credit card rather than a debit card? What can I do? Will this be fixed? Paypal claims not to charge a fee on debit cards, just credit cards.
