I really don't know how anyone can say that Pay Pal is for the buyer and not for the seller because I got ripped off by a SELLER and PayPal sided with them. I can't say for sure whether I was sent a bad product in the beginning OR it was damaged in the shipping process because it obviously wasn't packaged correctly.  But nontheless, I ordered an espresso machine for a b'day present and because I didn't order it the day before the b'day,PAYPAL sided with the seller and said that I should have contacted the within a reasonable amount of time.  It was 2 months.... PAYPALS rules not mine is 180 days to file a claim.   The espresso machine sat unopened for a month - oh forgive me, PayPal for ordering ahead of time and not doing things on the spur of the moment - then it wasn't used for 2 weeks.  When I used it, it didn't work... wouldn't push the water thru the coffee.  I tried to find out from ebay what to do and by the time I gave up on them it had been a few more weeks, which during that time I had mailed the seller a letter explaining what was going on (per ebay's instructions).  I didn't do anything else while waiting on the seller to respond - which she didn't.... totally ignored me.  So finally after a few weeks of not reallizing that she was going to do anything, I contacted Pay Pal who said that I should have filed a report sooner.   Why the **bleep** do they say 180 days if they are not gonna honor it. Well I turned them into the BBB and RipOff Report and I will put this story on every website I can find.  I WILL NEVER USE PAY PAL FOR ANYTHING OVER $5 because I  know that if it is broke I will never get it replaced or my money back.  So the buyer that PayPal sided with - kudos to you because that is not the way that my story goes.  I will buy my products from the store from now on because if it is broke I know that I can always take it back.  PAY PAL SUCKS!!!!!!   I wouldn't recomend anyone use them as they will only get ripped off.  And they say that you are safe using them.....YEAH RIGHT!   I think that I will start selling all of my personal belongings that I have at home that are broke.  I can make some money on broke things and the buyer will be **bleep**......  SUCKY PAY PAL.   UNFAIR.....UNKOOL.   There are better ways to buy things than this.  DO NO BUY ON LINE ANYMORE.  warning - PAYPAL WITH RIP YOU OFF   (and if you buy anything ahead of time, you are punished for it.  I wouldn't go thru pay pal but if you do, you better not buy anything till the day before you need it because if it comes broke you are **bleep** out of luck if you used PAYPAL) ...
