Okay, so I'm interesting in preordering an item from an online store and it's showing they support PayPal credit, to which I have never used anything like this before. It says no payments + interest if paid in full within 6 months. I was going to use my Tax refund to pay the item off in full which I will be getting within 21 days, but the preorder is going to go quickly. If I choose to use PayPal credit now, will it a) charge me immediately at checkout or will I not be charged immediately until I can pay it in full when I get the refund money in less than a month..b) do I get charged every month or is it a non-issue since I will be getting the money in less than a month? Hello, I recent;y preordered an item onine with my paypal debit card and the funds are not to be charged immediately. I have a walmart money network card also linked to my account. My question is can I add funds to my paypal at walmart using my Paypal debit card, and if not, can I add the money to my MN card and transfer to my paypal account? ... View more

So I recently sold an item on EBay (Item sold on the 6th) because I needed the money immediately due to losing my job and am about to lose my place. I can extend my living here while looking for a job as long as I had the money to pay (Within the next two days). I asked for immediate payment and it says completed - funds not yet available and in pending status. Funds availability is the 23rd of August which is a major problem for me. I understand they claim to do it to protect the seller, but let's say by off chance, my situation put aside, the buyer receives the item and it is in bad condition (Packed it like I was packing the holy grail) they get the item and first day requests a refund, but I cannot do so until I get the money (Which PayPal states is MY money), how does that at all protect me as the seller and help the buyer? That will only cause issues with the seller-buyer relationship. I know in the end me needing this money asap is a personal issue, but a big one for me and a reason I am writing this. To me, this whole holding funds until PP sees fit is sketchy and only seems to benefit them from the stories I have heard. I recently sold a Glacier White PS4 on Ebay which I took care of all the way up until I shipped it, which was in perfect condition when I shipped it. Buyer requested a return and refund because they claim it was damaged, to which photos show the damage, but it was not damaged when I shipped it. Either the post office is resopnsible for such actions or the person purposely damaged it to get a free PS4. I try to communicate with the buyer, but they do not communicate back. I would have purchased insurance if they gave me the option, but I was given no such option at the time of setting the item up for sale. I took great care of the PS4, thoroughly inspected it and made certain it was in perfect condition. I feel as if I shouldn't be held responsible since it is of either the buyer's or postal worker's fault. And now I have a negative balance due to this and will inevitably be contacted by collections. I don't know what to do, because I personally bubble wrapped it twice..two layers of bubble wrap and it gets damaged on the way there? I doubt it. What can I do? ... View more
