It depends on when the money was taken out if you use: PayPal balance/Bank it would go back to PayPal balance. Card it'll be credited back to the card that will take 5-7 working days not more than 1 billing cycle as it depends on how fast your card issuer process refunds. possible reason as to why it's pending is Your merchant/other party refunded you via eCheck that would take 5-7 working days for clearing and it'll suck if it failed
