I have been trying to make a purchase from a web site that is in Europe and charges in Euros. I was wanting to use my Paypal Credit account (formerly bill me later) but it won't allow me to where it is a foreign currency. I had read on this forum that "in the meantime, you may be able to use Bill Me Later to pay for international purchases using the PayPal Send Money feature. Send Money allows you to pay for purchases by sending the funds directly to the recipient using their email address. There is a fee to use Send Money for purchase transactions, which is 2.9% of the transaction amount plus $.30. There is an additional 1% transaction fee for cross-border transactions. All transactions that you initiate to an international recipient using Send Money will be sent in U.S. Dollars. In order to use Send Money with PayPal and your Bill Me Later account, you will first need to link your Bill Me Later account to an existing or new PayPal account.." I was just wondering if this post is correct or if it has changed since this was posted and if there is any way to make a purchase with the paypal credit account other than asking the vendor to accept the payment in USD.
