When ordering on a web site which offers PayPal, if I attempt to use my Visa credit card directly without going through PayPal, I get a message saying that I cannot use this card for this transaction - I must use another card. The card I am using is the same card that is linked to my PayPal account, and all of the data, such as expiration date, are correct. The transaction will process if I do go through PayPal on this site. It does not affect use of my credit card on other sites which do not use PayPal. Why is PayPal blocking the use of my credit card outside of PayPal, but accepts it within PayPal?
