THIS HAPPENED TO ME AS WELL.. EXCEPT MUCH WORSE!!! ....Ok, so heres my story, please help if you can....   I have: premier paypal account  ebay account (buyer) 1 canadian bank account (debit card only) 1 Titanium+ Visa (it is considered a credit card but I pre-load funds through money mart) **I rarely use my bank acc. The last time I used it, I had a friend put my deposit my cheque for me--I was on the opposite side of the country-- I didn't know the bank had put a hold on my account for some suspicious transaction(s) from awhile ago that I wasn't aware of. I explained I needed the money to pay for my flight home, they released the funds and put the hold back on** So now here's what happened: added & verified my bank acc  -- so I could link my paypal to ebay added & verified my credit card -- so I could pay for my items (since theres a hold on my bank acc) I bought & paid for 6 items (ranging from CAD $0.50 - $2.50) All 6 payments went through & I have now received all 6 items. ** I also ordered a 7th item, which wa around $20. paypal said "payment peding" for nearly 2 weeks. then the payment was cancelled. There was an item not paid case opened (the seller says ebay opened the case)** I have now learned that the payments were attempted to be taken from my bank account TWICE for each item!! I obviously have a hold on my account so I have been charged overdraft $45 for each attempt... 6x2=12 -- 12x45=$540 In my paypal history it says under transactions "complete, complete, complete" for every item but then I look over under "type" and it says FAILED TRANSFER FROM... how can a failed transfer be complete? Paypal has also told me a refund would be issued to my paypal account because I received the invoice for that 7th item. AND I have a negative paypal balance of $3.26, which I thought was added to the payment of an item (which was actually properly taken off my credit card! AND another thing, I can't even correct the unpaid item case, because ebay will not let me make a purchase! SO HOW WERE THE ITEMS PAID FOR? IF THE TRANSFERS FAILED, WHY DID I RECEIVE EVERYTHING I ORDERED? I put my credit card as default payment. and even if I hadn't, why didn't paypal notify me OR at the very least, not try the same failed account TWICE when I had funds on my crediit card?!      anyway, sorry this is a long post! thanks for reading if you actually read all that! any suggestions/solutions would be appreciated. Please only helpful responses, I'm already really angry about this ---I'm sure anyone in my shoes would be! I do realiize that I probably coould have prevented a lot of this, but I didn't notice what was going on with the bank account I donn't even use. I assumed that if I'm seeing "payment complete - item shipped" on my screen, then everythings A-OK. ... View more
