The buyer may file a dispute and you may have to refund. Have you asked for a picture of the packaging? Does it say the item was ripped with a post office sticker on it? Why do you presume your buyer is lying before investigating anything??

Ignore the last answer as it is random as most people don't get the hold too often. Folks that have poor ratings etc do occasionally get them more often.

Use google, that should answer your question. However if you are listing an item on ebay you have to use paypal. Also as a buyer I would not send funds to a stranger without paypal buyer protection. So as a seller I would rather wait a few days for my money than not sell the item at all.

mine has gone into my bank, but says this could take upto 72 hours!!! its normally in there within the hour, only reason i sold item was to fund a day trip with my kids, its only 200 quid aswell..fuming aint the word!!!
