Yes, Im a private seller on eBay and a customer wanted to cancel an order he bought via buyitnow, no problem I thought and cancelled order & issued refund... It's been on pending ever since? I have just sold something which was collection only and buyer was far away, the buyer simply paid the courier charge via PayPal direct to me    Had no issues doing this, but as far as I'm aware be careful with postage method, make sure you get carriage damage cover etc as from what I understand if  it's collection only you the seller are not covered by Paypal /eBay protection. although I noticed you didn't get any replies to this, I have a similar issue. I refunded an eBay buyer and assumed (wrongly) that the refund would be kinda instant as I have my bank and debit card setup in Paypal and have done for years. Unfortunately upon doing the refund via eBay I noticed in Paypal that it stated I have chosen to refund my buyer via Cheque ?? ... I didn't even request the refund via that method, it's annoying as my poor customer now has to wait 5-7 days to get his refund. To be fair he isnt exactly complaining but I find this kinda ridiculous  Just curious, did you find any way to cancel this ? I think in future if I need to make a refund, I'll be transferring cash to PayPal from my bank and then doing the refund - This should be highlighted to folk who are about to do a refund to avoid this headache ...
